How can innovation ecosystems move beyond international networking to create concrete opportunities for startups, companies and institutions to collaborate across borders? This session presents the Innovation Bridges model developed by the Buenos Aires Innovation Park as a practical approach to tech diplomacy, ecosystem connectivity and soft-landing. The model connects innovation hubs from different regions through structured programs that combine startup showcases, institutional exchange, business matchmaking, internationalization opportunities and access to new markets. Drawing on real experiences connecting ecosystems across Latin America, Europe and the Middle East, the session will explore how innovation parks can act as bridges between ecosystems, transforming international cooperation from institutional relationships into concrete pathways for startups, knowledge, talent, investment and technology to move across borders.
Sobre Julia Faita
Julia Faita is the Coordinator of International Cooperation at the Buenos Aires Innovation Park (Parque de Innovación de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires). She has been part of the park since 2023, where she leads the international agenda of one of Argentina’s leading innovation ecosystems. She holds a degree in International Relations, graduating with honours from the Argentine Catholic University (UCA) in 2021. Her work focuses on building international partnerships between innovation ecosystems and creating opportunities for startups to access new markets, networks, and strategic partners. At the Buenos Aires Innovation Park, she leads collaborations with innovation districts, science parks, universities, governments, corporations, investors, and international organizations, as well as institutional missions and startup internationalization initiatives.
